Free Daily Shuttle Service Available at Locations in Babylon Village, Amityville and Freeport
WHAT: In an extraordinary Long Island joint effort among several major social service and non-profit agencies and other organizations through LI VOAD (Voluntary Organization Assisting in Disaster), a new initiative called Health& Human Services One Stop Relief to Recovery is offering critical services and items all in one location to help victims of Hurricane Sandy. At Farmingdale State College, visitors have access to food, water, blankets, financial and legal advice, mental health care, Internet capabilities and other services from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Free daily shuttle service pick-up is available at the following locations from 10:00-10:15 a.m., 11:30-11:45 a.m. & 1:00-1:15 p.m.:
